Q: What drew you to Strata Health?
A: After spending a whopping 15 years in oil & gas energy, I decided it was time for a change. So, I ended up in a software company in the Health Care industry. Talk about a plot twist, right?
Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: 7 years +
Q: What does your job entail?
A: My mission is simple: make sure our clients have a positive and satisfying experience using our tools. That means loads of meetings and deep dives into both our clients’ needs and our internal wizardry, all to create a magical synergy.
Q: What do you think sets you apart in your field?
A: The peace of mind I bring to my clients. When they know I’m looking after their account, they can breathe easy.
Q: What challenges have you faced in your career?
A: External factors suddenly derailing carefully laid plans. I’ve learned that maintaining a “big picture” perspective is crucial. This involves having contingency plans and alternative strategies ready for when the panic button is activated.
Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.
A: I’ve come to recognize that not everyone feels comfortable speaking in group settings, so some clients and colleagues prefer to share their thoughts with me privately, trusting me to represent them in public discussions—a role I deeply appreciate and am honored to have.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.
Q: How would your best friend describe you in three words?
A: Hmmm…. honest, warm, and (occasionally) clever.
Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.
A: I am fully bilingual, although I am not from “down east” (Quebec). I learnt my French in a private Catholic school in southern Saskatchewan!
