This group provides leadership, expertise and core services to support the development, maintenance and implementation of pan-Canadian health information standards. Interoperability has become even more critical as health jurisdictions invest in multiple information systems to make the electronic health record a reality. These standards enable connecting electronic health information that will deliver improved health outcomes for Canadians.
