STRATA HEALTH WILL WORK WITH PARTNERS TO DEVELOP A PROOF-OF-CONCEPT FOR A SINGLE-POINT-OF-ACCESS TO CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLES MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.
(November 2021) Strata Health is pleased to announce a new partnership with NHS Western Isles to utilise Strata technology in the development of a proof-of-concept for a Single Point of Access (SPoA) that can be used for children and young people mental health services.
The Scottish Government Mental Health Strategy takes a health-promoting and preventative approach. It sets out a range of commitments around more accessible child and adolescent mental health and improving support for preventive and less intensive services (tiers 1 and 2 CAMHS) that tackle issues earlier. The ambition is to create the best social circumstances possible and improve the conditions in which people are born, grow, live, work and age.
Providing a single point of access and triage as a model will support both neurodevelopmental and Children and Young People wellbeing services.
The team at Strata Health is incredibly excited to be embarking on this critical proof-of-concept partnership, working together with Western Isles to take action to reduce mental health inequalities both as part of prevention and as part of service provision.
