Q: What drew you to Strata Health?

A: The obvious answer is that I’ve lived and breathed Strata for 20 years, being married to Clint. However, as a nurse, I’ve always been keenly interested in the work he was doing and jumped at the chance to get involved once the opportunity arose.

Q: How long have you been with the company?

A: Coming up to 10 years!

Q: What does your job entail?

A: I am responsible for training our clients, to ensure they are well versed and comfortable using our software. As well as creating and managing our training material repository.

Q: What do you think sets you apart in your field?

A: I believe my nursing background provides me with a unique perspective on how our clients could benefit from and incorporate our software into their daily routines. The challenges I have faced align nicely with my professional successes, as transitioning from the world of nursing to the world of technology has occasionally been difficult. However, after a lot of learning and practice, I have been able to utilize the experiences from both fields to successfully understand the training needs of our clients.

Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.

A: My professional success stories all stem from that moment at the end of a Go-Live when staff feedback that we’ve been able to make their transition to a new system ‘easier’.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

A: “Learn from your mistakes; act on what you’ve learned”.

Q: How would your best friend describe you in three words?

A: Smiley, witty, loyal.

Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.

A: I’ve been making pizza every Friday night for going on 30 years, hence the dream of going to Naples to learn from the pros.
