Strata Health is proud to introduce an upgraded reporting tool, powered by Pyramid Analytics. This next generation platform will provide customers with deeper insights for data-informed decisions, streamlining improvements in transitions of care management, and leverage AI capabilities to drive decision making.

In this Q&A session, we sat down with Kevin Jones, Senior Vice President of Strata Health Canada, to discuss this exciting milestone, the transformative power of analytics, and its significant impact on optimizing transitions of care.

Q1: Can you tell us about Strata Health’s new advanced reporting tool?

Kevin Jones: Absolutely! Strata Health has recognized the growing importance of analytics in the healthcare IT sector. As part of our commitment to ongoing innovation, we have recently invested in an enhanced reporting tool powered by Pyramid Analytics. This cutting-edge platform with AI-based analytics will empower our customers to make better decisions, faster, and drive improvements in transitions of care processes.

Q2: What benefits will the enhanced reporting tool bring to Strata Health’s customers?

Kevin Jones: The tool will offer our customers several key benefits. With real-time data visualizations and predictive analytics, they will gain deeper insights into the flow of patients through the health system, highlighting areas that can lead to more informed and impactful decision-making. This, in turn, will allow for better resource allocation, increased operational efficiency, and ultimately improved patient experiences.

Q3: How do you see analytics shaping the future of healthcare?

Kevin Jones: As the industry continues to evolve, data-driven insights will become indispensable for healthcare organizations to enhance patient outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and drive overall progress. Embracing analytics will empower care coordinators with the knowledge they need to make data-informed decisions that drive positive change.

Q4: How has the transition gone so far?

Kevin Jones: Large application-wide changes are never easy, and it’s always challenging when introducing new tools. This rollout has been a journey, as we have converted 20+ years of reporting refinement into a new tool, but we’re very fortunate to have some amazing client relationships that have helped us work through the change. In particular, I’d like to thank Interior Health, Alberta Health Services, and Nova Scotia Health Authority for their continued support.

Q5: What message do you have for healthcare leaders who are considering implementing analytics into their operations?

Kevin Jones: I would emphasize the immense value analytics offer.  We believe that information informed decisions are better decisions and vendors need to provide standard analytics that empower health stakeholders to harness the full potential of their data, optimize patient care processes, and drive positive change. Change isn’t easy, especially with the provider burnout prevalent in today’s market. Therefore, we need to be strategic about where we focus our effort. We’re genuinely excited about the potential of this new tool to further unlock the power of our data.

Q6: What does the future hold for Strata Health in terms of innovation and advancements?

Kevin Jones: At Strata Health, we are committed to being at the forefront of innovation in healthcare IT. Our goal is to continually enhance our platform, incorporating the latest technologies and capabilities. As always, we strive to work with our customers to improve healthcare transitions across the continuum of care.

We extend our appreciation to Kevin for sitting down with us! As the healthcare IT sector continues to mature, Strata Health aims to empower care coordinators to make informed decisions and drive positive changes that will shape the future of healthcare.
