▶ On the bucket list: Hug a koala, learn to make baklava, finish reading all the books on the Giller Prize list, stay in an ocean villa in the Maldives, bloom an orchid for a 2nd time, convince a close friend or relative to raise alpacas for me.
Q: What drew you to Strata Health?
A: The idea of being part of something that’s having a positive effect on our struggling healthcare system.
Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: Five years this month.
Q: What does your job entail?
A: My job encompasses all aspects of the finance function for the Strata group, with the help of some key team members, of course.
Q: What do you think sets you apart in your field?
A: Thanks to a wide variety of roles over the years, I have a deep well of experience to draw from and can tackle any problem or new project that arises.
Q: What challenges have you faced in your career?
A: Managing cash and meeting deadlines have always been the biggest challenges.
Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.
A: Becoming part of the Vitalhub group has been one of the most challenging but successful highlights of my career.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: To listen more than you speak.
Q: How would your best friend describe you in three words?
A: Calm, Patient, Organized

A: I’m still a Saskatchewan Farm Girl at heart and return to visit and help whenever I can.
