Q: What drew you to Strata Health?
A: I was introduced to the opportunity to join Strata Health through a family member, and what immediately drew me in was the incredible impact the company was making to improve the overall care of people within our health service. I was inspired by Strata’s ethos, where the patient always comes first and is the central focus behind every new digital innovation. Knowing that I could play a part in supporting solutions that make a real difference in people’s lives was a huge motivator for me, and it’s been a privilege to contribute to such meaningful work.
Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: 5 Years
Q: What does your job entail?
A: Providing exceptional support for our clients, including out-of-hours – capturing, logging and responding to day-to-day general, technical and IT queries. Supporting various other functions of company operations including administration, event planning, training and marketing.
Q: What do you think sets you apart in your field?
A: I believe my combined experience in hospitality, multimedia, and training provides the perfect foundation for delivering exceptional customer service. Each of these fields has shaped my ability to connect with people, communicate effectively, and adapt to different situations. I’m results-driven, have strong interpersonal skills, and approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset. Most importantly, I genuinely love helping people, which motivates me to go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met.
Q: What challenges have you faced in your career?
A: One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced was founding and growing two businesses from the ground up while stepping into a leadership role. It was incredibly demanding but also the most rewarding experience of my career. It pushed me to develop new skills, strengthen my resilience, and navigate the complexities of managing people and operations. While challenging, it opened up wonderful opportunities and gave me the confidence to tackle new things. I’ve learned how much I enjoy working with people and finding ways to help them achieve their goals.
Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.
A: One professional success I’m particularly proud of is my involvement in aiding the go-live and ongoing support for our new Digital ED Services, BaRS Assured Solution, with East Lancashire Hospitals Trust. This initiative has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Contribution to the Improvement of Urgent and Emergency Care category at the prestigious 2025 HSJ Partnership Awards. It’s a huge achievement for the entire team, and being part of something that makes a tangible difference to healthcare delivery is incredibly rewarding.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: Success cannot be measured in wealth, fame or power, but by whether you have made a positive difference for others.
Q: How would your best friend describe you in three words?
A: Supportive, determined, and creative.
Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.
A: I can lick my own elbow! It’s my go-to party trick and always gets a laugh, especially since it’s supposedly an impossible task for most people!
