News: NHS ONEL CS invited to speak at HC2010 on success of Strata PathWays™ & Strata IQ™
HC2010, taking place in Birmingham April 27-29, is the UK’s leading event in Health and Social Care informatics.
During last year’s conference, Christine Connolly, CIO for the Department of Health set the agenda for change, calling to expand IT solutions locally. Christine’s quote read, “We now want to open up the healthcare IT market to new suppliers and new technological developments, to inject more pace into this programme. Working together we can help Trusts configure systems to best meet their local needs as well as take advantage of market developments to make more use of the information held in the core systems.”
A year on, this direction of travel seems even more pronounced. HC2010, therefore becomes ‘the event’ that brings the best new and innovative technology in healthcare together across Britain. The conference will be centered around ‘the development of healthcare informatics systems and products, designed to enhance and improve patient care’ as the NHS continues to strive for Quality Innovation Productivity and Prevention (QIPP).
Strata Health Ltd is proud to once again have NHS ONEL CS present their successes and outcomes at HC2010. The focus of discussion will be the significant advancements made within ONEL CS in Applying Healthcare Business Intelligence to Improve the Provision of Community Services. This business intelligence has been delivered via the Strata PathWays™ Resource Matching & Referral™ application (which underpins ONEL’s Single Point of Access), along side the newly developed Strata IQTM platform which delivers robust real-time reporting across multiple data layers, enabling leading edge analytics to drive better patient access and care within the community.
John Cowman, Director of Business Development & Performance commented, “Being involved in the HC2010 Conference will allow ONEL CS to demonstrate how Strata Pathways™ , along side Strata IQTM, enables not only daily information on access and capacity to best ensure patient care within the community, but also enables addressing a broader strategic understanding of patient needs compared with demographic health markers across the whole health economy’s general population.”
Dan Holowack, Strata Health Solutions, Strata IQ™ Service Specialist added, “By aggregating data across various platforms onto a single intelligence instance, Strata IQTM can show relational data in real-time, producing true insight into trends in health care intervention; compared to regional census data such as age, gender, ethnicity (to name but a few). Therefore, the understanding of commissioning requirements to ensure equitable access for all is enhanced to a new level of expertise”.
