A Response to the Auditor General’s 2013 Report

This document is intended for review and consideration by leadership at the Rehabilitative Care Alliance, the GTA Rehab Network, the Ontario LHINs and Rehabilitation Hospitals across the province. The document, developed in response to the 2013 Auditor General’s Report, summarizes key recommendations and proposes a vision for improving access to rehabilitation services regardless of LHIN boundaries by leveraging existing IT investments such as eReferral. This document is not intended to capture all findings and recommendations within the Report. However, it is intended to contribute to collaborative action towards a more integrated Rehabilitation Network of programs and services easily accessible by all Ontarians.
