Q: What drew you to Strata Health?
A: The people. I first met Strata while the team was exploring the acquisition of the organization I worked for, and the culture stood out immediately—people genuinely enjoyed working together and brought great energy. I was also drawn to Strata’s commitment to patient care and strong customer partnerships. It felt like the right fit.
Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: I joined the original organization in 2016 and became part of Strata in 2020.
Q: What does your job entail?
A: I wear a few hats, but at the core my role is to enable success–supporting our teams so they can do their best work, partnering with customers to ensure their needs are met, and helping the organization execute on our growth initiatives.
Q: What do you think sets you apart in your field?
A: I don’t know that it’s one single thing, but I’ve always prioritized learning and growth. Staying curious keeps me grounded, helps me lead through change, and ultimately makes me a better partner for our teams and customers.
Q: What challenges have you faced in your career?
A: Early in my career, as a social worker in healthcare, there were times when growth opportunities felt limited. I had to consistently challenge assumptions about what my background could contribute, and that experience shaped how I advocate for diverse perspectives and career paths today.
Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.
A: I don’t have a particular instance that comes to mind on this, I think I am proud of how I have navigated my professional life and remained true to myself to grow and develop into where I am today.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: Two things: stay true to myself and always listen to understand, not to respond. Also, my dad always told me what people say about me was none of my business. That concept helps remove some of the personal in business and lets me focus on what is in front of me.
Q: How would your best friend describe you in three words?
A: I asked a group of them and then had AI pull three themes and I got: passionate, insightful and dependable.
Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.
A: People are always surprised by how much I love reality shows. Human behavior fascinates me, and they’re the perfect ‘study.’ Beyond that, I’m a fairly open book. I love and prioritize time with family and friends. I’m always up for cooking, baking, dancing, music, or when needing some quiet time to recharge, reading. I strive for balance!
