Q: What drew you to Strata Health?

A: The people! Everyone I interviewed with were easy to talk to and really cared about the company. Everyone had also been with the company for a long time which shows me that Strata treats their employees well.

Q: How long have you been with the company?

A: One month and looking forward to many more!

Q: What does your job entail?

A: I am the Sales Director for the US territory. My goal is to prospect and bring on new partners to grow our footprint in the US. I am reaching out to target accounts and attending conferences to promote our solutions.

Q: What do you think sets you apart in your field?

A: I used to work in a PAC facility and have an understanding of the struggles they faced with the referral process. I also come with 6 years of vendor experience selling software to hospital systems. I believe my combination of direct patient care and work in the IT space gives me a softer touch when approaching clients which has allowed me to be a trusted partner.

Q: What challenges have you faced in your career?

A: Selling is my career and some years are better than others. It can be a challenge to overcome the harder months and still have a positive/optimistic look at your pipeline to close deals in the future.

Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.

A: I was very proud of myself for stepping way outside my comfort zone and moving into the software sales space. It was my first remote job that also required a lot of solo travel, and I think it helped me grow my confidence and work ethic to succeed.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

A: “Fake it till you make it” – To me this means trying and not being afraid to fail. Also, about repetition and building confidence and knowledge through trial and error.

Q: How would your best friend describe you in three words?

A:  Consistent, outgoing, adventurous/active.

Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.

A: At 32 years old I can still do a back flip and deadlift 225 lbs!
