Q: What drew you to Strata Health?
A: A friend told me about the job, and I quickly learned to love what we do for patients.
Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: Started in 2021, left for a while and have now returned!
Q: What does your job entail?
A: Helping post-acute care providers use our tools to provide the most accurate information for patients looking for care upon discharge.
Q: What do you think sets you apart in your field?
A: I’m bilingual and love helping people. I have over a decade of experience teaching music to students of all ages; this has given me the skills needed to best listen and understand clients and communicate information with accuracy.
Q: What challenges have you faced in your career?
A: The biggest challenge I have faced is being unsure of my career path. I have gained valuable experience in many different environments and industries; each has taught me valuable skills that allow me to improve my performance and become most effective in my role.
Q: Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.
A: I worked in the music retail industry for a long time, and although I don’t have a specific story that comes to mind, I can think of several similar instances. I always love being able to match a student with the instrument that best fits them. When a student walked into the shop and wanted a guitar, but didn’t know which one, being able to narrow down their skill set, music preference among other factors in order to find the perfect guitar. That experience was always my favorite. I love helping clients find the solution that best fits their needs and helping them learn how to use it and make the most of it.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: There will never be a “right time,” if you don’t make it happen. Go out there and do what your heart desires.
Q: How would your best friend describe you in three words?
A: Adventurous, caring, devoted.
Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.
A: I can play at least seven instruments 😀
