Strata Health UK is excited to announce a new partnership with NHS Ayrshire & Arran. The partnership involves collaborating with Ayrshire & Arran’s three Health & Social Care Partnerships (HSCP) to develop and pilot a digitally enabled single point of access (SPoA) triage hub and e-referral platform for the transformation of Neurodevelopment Services for Children and Young People. This innovative digital solution, which uses advanced automation capabilities, presents an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference to deliver improved children and young people’s care, enhance staff experiences and increase efficiencies across NHS Ayrshire & Arrans health, social care and communities. Learnings from this pilot project will enable further development of digital approaches across the lifespan and wider mental health services.

The digital hub will act as a single point of access or digital front door for children and families, primary and community care, schools, education, hospitals and psychiatry to refer anyone with neurodevelopmental needs. The system, which incorporates robotic process automation (RPA) and other advanced technologies, will match, manage, and support clinicians with intelligent clinical decision support, helping to direct and process referrals automatically. This reduces manual effort, is faster, reduces variation and eliminates errors, ultimately reducing waiting lists and ensuring children are seen by the right person, in the right place, at the right time.

By simplifying processes and reducing errors and inappropriate referrals, the solution is poised to improve productivity and efficiency across the system, while supporting better outcomes for children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs

“We are delighted to partner with Ayrshire & Arran, marking an exciting step forward in improving the delivery of mental health and well-being services for children and young people across North, South & East Health & Social Care Partnership.  Strata Health’s digital Robotic Process Automation Hub and single point of access promises to streamline processes, improve access to care, and reduce waiting times. We look forward to working closely with our partners to deliver just that.”
