(18 September 2023) We are excited to share that in August 2023, Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust launched Strata Health’s Navigation & Single eReferral System for the Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) Service, sparking a transformation in referral management for patients with aortic stenosis.
The TAVI Service accepts referrals from various District General Hospitals (DGH) in the region, encompassing Blackburn, Preston, Chorley, Lancaster, and Furness.
Since our platform’s introduction on Wednesday, August 30th, we have achieved a 100% compliance rate, ensuring all TAVI Service referrals are processed and managed digitally. The introduction of digital forms and e-signature capabilities has streamlined the referral process, ensuring all necessary information is accurately captured and efficiently transmitted. This digital transformation not only enhances workflows but has also optimised the entire referral process.
By utilizing our platform, the TAVI Service can expedite referral acceptance, enabling District General Hospitals to free up beds more rapidly, ultimately ensuring patients receive prompt and essential care. This underscores the efficiency and effectiveness of our solution in meeting the needs of patients and healthcare providers alike.
