With an outstanding technical background and robust experience in building technical security solutions, Andrew Marsh joined Strata Health in 2013. Over the past decade, Andrew has been instrumental in building Strata Health’s global compliance program, developing and maintaining global policies and informing, educating and monitoring Strata Health employee compliance.

We sat down with Andrew to talk about what attracted him to Strata Health, what his work entails, and what life is like when he’s off the clock.

Q: What drew you to Strata Health?

A: The people, the culture, and being with a company that puts out a product that improves people’s lives.

Q: What is your current job title? What exactly do you do?

A: VP Global Compliance, I ensure that our policies, procedures, and operations align with international laws and regulations and meet our customers’ requirements.

Q: What do you love most about what you do?

A: I like collaborating to find a way through the “noise” of governance to find a suitable solution that works for both Strata Health and our customers.

Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

A: When working in IT Security, the easy path is always just to say no. Don’t take the easy path.

Q: Tell us a surprising or fun fact about you.

A: When not working, my day-to-day is controlled by a very opinionated Corgi.
